Reem has 25+ years of experience and a strong track record in building regional and international strategic partnerships, managing multi-million and multi-year development programs, designing and implementing innovative and high-impact programs, mobilizing ecosystem players, building and empowering teams to create impact. Her experience spans across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in the areas of impact investing, SME growth, entrepreneurship development, investment readiness, export development, women empowerment, access to finance, economic impact, sector growth strategies, management consulting, market research, and economic development programs and policies.

Prior to joining Village Capital, Reem was the Managing Director of Endeavor Jordan where she engaged rigorously with high-impact entrepreneurs, business leaders, disruptors and investors from 40+ markets around the world, giving her a solid exposure to global best practices on how to scale ventures, access capital and expand into new markets. Prior to that, she was the Senior Manager and Lead Economist at Al Jidara, a regional consulting firm in MENA that provides economic, development, and management consulting services. She also spearheaded the establishment of several research and reporting units, as well as worked as a policy advisor for the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan.

Reem is an experienced and highly engaged board member of large corporations and entities across various sectors. She sat on the boards of the Jordan River Foundation in Jordan and the Capital Bank Group, which operates in Jordan, Iraq, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Previously, she was on the board of the Arab Potash Company, a pan Arab company ranking 8th globally in potash production. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Economic Development and International Trade from Boston University.
