Amro Zahran

VP for IT

Amro Zahran is the Vice-President for Information Technology (IT) for the Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII). He is an information technology specialist with more than twenty two years of experience. Based in the Palestine office, Mr. Zahran led the design and development of MEII’s proprietary Loan Guarantee Facility (LGF) Management Information System and the launch of the Tamweeli platform.  Prior to MEII, Mr. Zahran spent six years with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) as their IT Manager and Network Administrator.  He also worked as a consultant at a data center for the President of the Palestinian Authority.  Mr. Zahran holds a BS in Computer Science from Birzeit University in Palestine, and has attended multiple short-term courses abroad on various IT topics.
