Our mission is to stimulate sustainable economic activity and long‑lasting job creation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by designing and deploying finance and technical assistance programs to benefit entrepreneurs and micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). MEII seeks to transition from traditional aid to economic empowerment, fostering growth through private-sector-led development.
MEII supports sustainable economic development by working to strengthen financial inclusion through the promotion of access to finance. We also work to improve financial infrastructure and systems, leading to long-term, dignified economic opportunities instead of a culture of dependency.
